UK nailcare brand Townhouse has opened a salon within The Yards in London’s Covent Garden, marking its eighth location and yet another indie name enhancing the appeal of the niche destination.

Located on Slingsby Place, the 1,000 sq ft unit features “renowned and award-winning treatments, industry-leading technology and instagrammable interiors” with the Townhouse “providing a premium concept which elevates and redefines the nail salon experience”.
The menu ranges from express treatments for clients on the go, to more indulgent, luxury experiences.
To celebrate the opening, Townhouse is offering gift bags for the launch with any treatment, while stocks last, and includes a selection of products from Charlotte Tilbury, Chantecaille, SLIP, 111 Skin, Caudalie and Skinworks.
The Yards, which draws together Longmartin Properties with a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, said of its latest addition: “We have shaped a destination which delivers the very best retail, F&B and leisure experiences for consumers, and with Townhouse continuing to excel in the beauty market, it fits seamlessly into our destination where independents flourish. It provides a tried, tested, and successful beauty and well-being offering and we are proud to have them as part of our bourgeoning destination.”
Juanita Huber-Millet, founder and Creative Director of Townhouse, added that its latest destination “proved the obvious choice, being located in the heart of London and home to so many leading fashion and lifestyle brands whom we sit so comfortably beside.”
The opening of Townhouse follows The Yards’ unique-to-retail Christmas activation, 12 Drops of Christmas, which uses pioneering geo-located technology, allowing visitors the opportunity to unlock exclusive destination offers, via scanning a QR code found within The Yards.
