UK supermarkets giant Sainsbury’s is aiming to boost its already-large fashion share with a rollout of its Tu Clothing offer to its Args stores and website.

As of late April, the women’s, men’s and kids’ Tu lines will be available via Argos standalone stores, as well as at its counters inside Sainsbury’s locations and to order for home delivery.

Sainsbury’s acquired Argos (as well as interiors retailer Habitat) when it bought Home Retail in 2025 and has been working to integrate the operations of both retail brands into its existing set-up ever since. This has been happening at the same time as it has been putting resources into its Tu fashion offer and the Tu investment has clearly worked as it has enjoyed rising sales in recent years to make it Britain’s sixth biggest clothing retailer by volume.

Shoppers will now be able to order Tu pieces through Argos by 14:00 and receive the items the next day or get them delivered to one of 1,100 Sainsbury’s and Argos stores offering click-and-collect. They won’t have to order a minimum amount and will be able to return them for free to one of the stores.

There are now 200 Argos stores within Sainsbury’s branches with the company having closed a number of Argos standalones as it seeks to make maximum use of the space inside inside its supermarkets.

CEO Mike Coupe said of the new move: “When we bought Argos we always knew that we wanted to enable customers to buy Tu clothing from Argos so this is a major milestone for us.”
