Skechers announced the opening of its first-ever Brussels store, amid the U.S. sneaker firm's expansion across Belgium.
Located near INNO and City2 shopping, on Rue Neuve, the new 5,270-square-foot location is designed in Skechers’ trademark modern décor—featuring a vaulted entry and a large mural of the Californian brand’s hometown of Manhattan Beach, as well as a digital screen and illuminated displays.
The new Brussel store houses the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessory collections, as well as dedicated Skechers Performance and Skechers Apparel shop-in-shops, and an assortment of the company’s technologies for every activity, including its patented Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins, Skechers Arch Fit, Skechers Max Cushioning, and Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam.
In-store, visitors will also find Skechers' partnership with Brussels-based artist Vexx for the 'Skechers x Vexx' capsule.

The Brussels opening comes on the back of with the opening of Skechers' Meir store opening in Antwerp, and precedes its planned Bruges concept store opening in mid-May.

In its most recent trading update, Skechers U.S.A. Inc. announced record sales of $2.25 billion, a 12.5% increase, for the first quarter, on the back of double-digit increases in international and direct-to-consumer sales, respectively.
