Part skatepark, part music venue, part theater, part art gallery and much more, House of Vans is considered a community hub that inspires creativity and encourages 'Off the Wall' thinking. House of Vans Mexico City, located at Ruben 6, Col. San Juan, joins other House of Vans outposts, now open in Chicago and London.

The Mexico City location will house a skatepark and bowl, a space set up for park and street skating and BMX riding with a rooftop bowl; interactive workshops with artists of different disciplines; a gallery, for rotating exhibitions of paintings, sculptures; a House of Vans’ movie theatre, to showcase premieres and screenings; a kitchen, for the best chefs in Mexico; and two stages, for local and international headliners, as well as for up-and-coming artist’s concerts and rehearsals.

“It is an honor for Vans to permanently open House of Vans Mexico City. It’s a space where the ‘Off The Wall’ spirit lives, which will enable action sports, music, art, and street culture communities to embrace and develop their expressive creativity to keep making history within Mexico City’s rich creative landscape," said Iñigo Perezcano, Vans senior marketing manager.

The opening will kick off with live performances by Japanese Breakfast, Mexico City-based musicians Molotov and the UK electronic pop band Hot Chip, all appearing in December. Additionally, the gallery space will open with Marcos Castro, the artist responsible for House of Vans Mexico City’s main mural.
