It’s had “six successful years” of popping up in the run-up to Christmas, so it’s no surprise the charity Choose Love Shop is returning with another temporary London store, on Carnaby Street, from 22 November-24 December.

And for the first time, the charity will also open a Choose Love Boutique in the space for just over two weeks (2-18 November).
The newly added Choose Love Boutique is being curated by celebrity stylists Aimee Croysdill, Cher Coulter and Holly Eva White, selling donated fashion pieces “from a host of celebrities across music and film alongside high-end brand contributions across fashion, beauty and home”.
Contributions from brands include Prada, Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, House of Hackney, Aesop, Charlotte Tilbury, and Vyrao.
Meanwhile, the “one-of-a-kind" Choose Love Shop will stock “essential supplies and life-saving interventions” for refugees and displaced people around the world, raising funds for the winter months "when help is needed more than ever”.
“From hot food to emergency housing to a warm coat, everything it sells will, quite simply, help to change a life”, it said. Shoppers can also buy items as a gift over the festive season.
Last year, the shop raised over £1.2 million, and over the past six years, it has seen support from friends such as Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Louis Theroux, Phoebe Waller Bridge and Dermot O’Leary alongside co-founder Dawn O’Porter and many other supporters and shoppers.
Following previous years’ traditions, the Choose Love shop will host various workshops and events in-store, with craft sessions, film screenings, live music and child-focused days to workshops.
O’Porter said: “The Choose Love boutique promises to be a lovely addition… with gorgeous bargains for Christmas party looks and pressies for everyone and all the proceeds helping make sure we can get supplies to people who need them most this winter.”
Josie Naughton, Choose Love co-founder and CEO added: “The Choose Love boutique and then the Choose Love shop will quite simply be lifelines over the cold months, and we are so looking forward to connecting with our incredible community to show what we can do when we come together and Choose Love.”
