Until today, luxury footwear retailer Baudoin & Lange has focused on its UK ops but now the brand is opening the doors to its first international boutique in the heart of Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera.
The company said the new boutique at 25 rue Henri Seillon “showcases the brand’s timeless European design, emphasising quality craftsmanship. Immersed in a unique atmosphere, the store highlights the brand’s commitment to excellence”.
It mirrors the two London stores that are in key locations in its home city such as Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade and the City of London financial district’s key destination Royal Exchange.
And its first non-UK store aligns with its strategy “to mirror its positioning in iconic locations.The inauguration of this new store is a component strategic expansion plan. The brand connects its passion for comfort and design with the rich story of the French Riviera”.
Allan Baudoin, co-founder and creative director of Baudoin & Lange, said: “This just seemed like the optimal location to keep a conversation with many of our clients who travel to Saint-Tropez every summer or have homes there. I see a great opportunity in France with international visitors from the rest of the world who come for summer vacations. This season, especially with the Olympics, is incredibly exciting.”
The last opening for the label was that Royal Exchange store that debuted last November.
