British menswear designer Grace Wales Bonner has signed on as a mentor for international fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni London.
She joins a list of leading mentors including Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing for the Paris school and British journalist Katie Grand for the London school.
The partnership will result in a series of masterclasses and workshops in which Wales Bonner will impart her experience in the fashion and design industry, as well as introducing special guest talks and providing hands-on feedback for students.
There will also be exclusive opportunities to support her Paris Fashion Week show in February, providing students with “unprecedented experience working on showcasing a major collection in London and Paris”.
The Wales Bonner label was launched following the designer’s graduation from Central Saint Martins in 2025. She’s received numerous awards including Emerging Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards (2025), the LVMH Young Designer Prize (2025), the British Fashion Council/ Vogue Designer Fashion Fund (2025), CFDA International Men's Designer of the Year (2025) and The Fashion Awards Independent British Brand (2025).
In 2025, she was invited by Maria Grazia Chiuri to collaborate with Dior to re-interpret the house's New Look silhouette for its Resort 2025 collection. She’s also collaborated with Adidas Originals, Savile Row Tailors Anderson & Sheppard, Charvet, Manolo Blahnik and Swarovski.
