Zaha Hadid Architects will design the new Dubai residence, The Alba.
Developer Omniyat has announced the ultra-luxury residences, The Alba, managed by Dorchester Collection and designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, to bring together “nature and cutting-edge design.”
With organic, marine-inspired forms reminiscent of a luxury cruise ship, The Alba is a new garden retreat on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
Scheduled to open in 2028, the apartments feature bold, bright, and airy interiors designed by Gilles & Boissier, with ceilings over 3m high and breathtaking views of Dubai’s iconic skyline.
The gardens, designed by internationally award-winning landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic, are designed to add serenity and beauty, merging the natural world with the vibrant architecture of the residences. The distinctive arched forms of the buildings emerge from the gardens which are adorned with waterfalls, lily ponds, and shaded paths.
The spatially inventive, artistically sophisticated, and technologically advanced project honors the legacy of ZHA founder, Zaha Hadid.
