Sports fashion and footwear retail giant JD Sports has reopened its flagship store in Westfield Stratford City in East London.
The new and improved store “promises an exciting new shopping experience for sports enthusiasts and fashion aficionados alike”.
The new space boasts over 4,000 sq ft of additional space compared to the previous Stratford store, “offering customers an expanded and enhanced shopping environment”.
It comes complete with a “cutting-edge digital uplift” spanning two floors, “promising to deliver a seamless and immersive shopping experience”. With expanded areas for footwear and apparel, shoppers can expect a curated selection of the latest styles and trends from top brands.
Shoppers who purchased footwear across the opening weekend were able to attend the JD Customisation Station, with the option to add custom heat press vinyl and alternative laces, free of charge.
Visitors to the new store were also entertained with a series of sporting performances, including freestyle footballer Andrew Henderson, basketball freestyler Tarry Algar and break dancers from Sky Cinema’s Breaking Point.
In the coming months, JD Stratford will host a series of activities and events, including: JD Stratford Strike Activation (27-28 April); Crep Protect Cop or Flop Challenge (4-5 May); Under Armour Performance Activation (11-12 May); New Balance Grey Days Activation (May 17); and JD Prize Pull Activation (18-19 May).
