December 17 marks a special occasion for comedian, host, and actor Garik Papoyan’s signature “Gitarion” performance: it celebrates its one-year anniversary. To honor the milestone, the creative team has planned one more special show.
“We initially decided that the last ‘Gitarion’ would take place in November. However, after the performance, we thought about doing one more special show, where all proceeds will be directed to the families of our heroes. This is not charity; it’s gratitude to all those people who have given us the opportunity to continue creating and performing on this land. Our entire team has joined this initiative,” says Garik, emphasizing, “This is not charity, it’s gratitude.”
Sharp humor enriched with musical performances. Papoyan’s original “Gitarion” is a stereo-comedy-style show that merges humor and music.
The audience unanimously praises Garik Papoyan’s masterful delivery of his humor, while the live music adds an emotional layer to the stories. It’s no surprise that tickets to all 40 “Gitarion” performances sold out within hours.
“Garik’s ‘Gitarion’ has been one of the best-selling stand-up shows this year. Tickets for each performance were sold out within hours, and we kept receiving countless messages asking about the next show. And so, it went on 40 times. This is an exceptional achievement, especially for Armenia, and we congratulate our partner on this success,” says Samvel Batikyan, Business Development Manager of Eventhub.am, the exclusive ticket sales partner for “Gitarion,” during an interview.
Another distinctive feature of “Gitarion” is that every performance includes at least one unique element—a new joke or song—that sets it apart from the previous ones. Now, the anniversary performance is just around the corner, and yes, tickets are already sold out.
