UK digital skiwear/sportswear “firebrand” OOSC Clothing aims to grow its exports with a “transformational” £1.4 million in a second round of funding from HSBC UK, secured by UK Export Finance (UKEF).

The Worcestershire- and London-based business specialises in eco-produced, retro-styled ski, gym and swimwear using materials from recycled plastic bottles, fishing nets and sea-waste.
Nearly in its 10th year, OOSC currently exports to over 110 countries including key distributors ASOS, Decathlon and Zalando in the EU, Macy’s in the US, Hudson Bay in Canada and others across Australia and New Zealand. Online, its regional websites also include sales across 49 US states.
Supported by this latest deal the company is now aiming for further global expansion and increase production to its major retail partners while also helping to purchase more inventory to support the growth.
In 2025, OOSC also appointed its first brand ambassador, Team GB and double Olympian snowboarder Katie Ormerod, with the company also producing and developing her own-name range.
Nick Marsden, co-founder and Director of OOSC Clothing, said: “We’re seeing customers around the world get excited not only by our retro-styled products, but also by our industry-leading sustainability credentials and the wider impact we’re having on the planet."
He added: “UKEF has played a critical role in facilitating our international growth, strengthening our presence in existing markets and entering new ones. We simply would not have grown as fast as we have without its support.”
