Popular footwear brand Dr. Martens, commonly called Doc Martens, has joined forces with Yohji Yamamoto again for a new couture collaboration with a minimalist theme.
Following multiple collaborations between the two brands over the last ten years, for their fall 2025 team-up the Japanese designer's namesake luxury label chose to revisit the Dr. Martens' "1490" boot.
Yamamoto created a subtly updated version of the high-top boot, with an understated, minimalist style and couture details.
The new 10-eyelet boots boast Dr. Martens' new Cubeflex technology promising optimal flexibility and resistance. Made from Temperley leather and finished in black, the boots feature yellow stitching and black-and-gold eyelets. They are embossed with a Yohji Yamamoto signature.
The limited-edition Yohji Yamamoto x Dr. Martens Cubeflex Ordinance boots are available now on the Dr. Martens e-commerce site, priced at $900.
