It’s being hailed as London’s newest cultural hotspot. Borough Yards, adjacent to London Bridge, is the focus of a 140,000 sq ft mixed-use regeneration programme, marking the arrival of another area in the capital primed for fashion and beauty retail.

So far, eyewear brand Ace & Tate, headwear brand Lids and beauty company Malin + Goetz have signed to open stores with more “leading beauty, food, fashion and homeware operators” also expected to open their doors.
The development sees the opening of a public area to create a new commercial and pedestrian zone connecting the well-known Borough Market to the Southbank.
With a claimed 16 million visitors/commuters passing through London Bridge every day, the scheme's investor/developer MARK said the area is short of day-to-night integrated shopping. So the scheme also includes a cinema and a host of international restaurants.
Lily Lin, UK Managing Director at MARK, said: “We continue on our path to building one of London’s most popular mixed-use districts. It plays home to a vibrant community of local residents, workers and visitors, enabled in part by the creation of a new pedestrian zone and public space through delicate restoration. High-quality retail, food and leisure is complemented by an intense focus on exceptional design.
“We are well known for our successful execution of defining regeneration projects in landmark locations and Borough Yards is no exception to that rule.”
