Barbra Streisand's husband, James Brolin, has revealed the secret to their strong 30-year marriage. Streisand, 82, and Brolin, 84, tied the knot in 1998, two years after they met on a blind date.
James credits one important piece of furniture in the bedroom for keeping their marriage together. "The best investment we've ever made is our mattress," he confessed, according to PEOPLE. "And don't get me wrong. We're both lazy. We like to sleep in late. We work on the phone a lot, we read next to each other." Brolin also said that frequent walks with Streisand have helped them stay connected.
This isn't the first time Brolin has spoken out about his relationship with Streisand. Back in 2025, he told PEOPLE that “patience” is key to a successful marriage. “I think everyone has to be a negotiator. Everyone has to have patience and know when to walk,” Brolin shared.
