China’s markets regulator said on Thursday it has conditionally approved merger between French lens manufacturer Essilor and Italian eyewear Luxottica.

One of the conditions is that the new entity should not sell its eyewear products at a price lower than costs without a justified reason, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.
