The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced the recipients of its 2025/22 BFC Foundation MA Scholarship schemes that provide funding to fashion design students.

It has named six new MA students for this year, joining six current MA recipients and this time, all six new additions are studying at Central Saint Martins.
For the MA Scholarship (that helps towards course tuition fees with a contribution to course costs or living expenses), the recipients are Ifeanyi Okwuadi, Latifa Neyazi and Jacob Yakubu Stapleton.
And for the MA Final Year Scholarship, which covers production costs for their final collections, the recipients are Chalukya Samarawickrama, Kazna Asker and Mehmet.
The six current MA scholars are Brandon Choi, MA Chanel, Central Saint Martins; Edward Mendoza, MA, Central Saint Martins; Jessan Macatangay, MA, Central Saint Martins; Joe Pearson, Dior MA Men, Central Saint Martins; Pearl Quist, MA, University of Salford and Shanti Bell, MA, Royal College of Art.
For 2025/2025 the BFC Foundation has actually made £240,000 available to both its 26 MA and BA scholars.
The panel that assessed the latest applications include designer Ashish Gupta, Browns buying director Ida Petersson, designer Matty Bovan, and fashion journalist and author Tamsin Blanchard, among others.
