This is certainly the most powerful photo from the A.P.C. show, which took place on Sunday: Jean and Judith Touitou coming to greet the public at the end of a fashion show organised at the brand's Parisian headquarters at 39, rue Madame, in the 6th arrondissement. A few days after the official takeover of the company by the L Catterton fund, their appearance on the runway made a point that the founder and creative director are still present at the heart of the French label.

A close-fitting zebra cashmere jumper and a long, bulky giraffe-print coat spiced up the collection. In total, the duo showed 31 looks worn by the senior students of the Lycée Diagonale in Paris, the school of Jean Touitou's daughter Lily.
