Ten years after opening her first European boutique at 5 rue Saint-Claude, a 275-square-meter space in the Marais district of Paris, Madame Woo, designer and CEO of Wooyoungmi, is opening a second store in the French capital. The first South Korean brand to showcase in Paris, founded in 2002, is setting up shop at 4 rue du Marché-Saint-Honoré, in the French capital's 1st arrondissement.

The new 61-square-meter space, reimagined by the South Korean studio Leehaeinn, reflects the brand’s clean and precise aesthetics. It’s located next to the high-end footwear store Doucal’s and near Dior’s boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré.
Inside the store, a prominent motif features a large ear against a red backdrop. “This centerpiece, which draws attention and sports the brand’s iconic red hue, captures the imagination and underscores the brand’s bold originality. Conceptually, the ear represents the desire and ability to listen. In an era marked by the globalization of South Korean culture, it symbolizes South Korea’s attentive commitment to taking the world’s pulse,” the brand explained in a statement.

Globally, the brand boasts 45 points of sale, including a flagship store in Seoul and a presence in department stores worldwide, from Harrods in London to Joyce in Shanghai, as well as Le Bon Marché in France, Galeries Lafayette in Beijing and Doha, and Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong.
According to reports, the brand’s parent company, Solid Corporation, recorded sales of around €50 million in 2025.
