LPP — the Poland-based owner of the Reserved and Sinsay chains, among others — has reported its Q2 results and said the period was “marked by the development of the sales network in Europe, high profitability and the company's consistent cost discipline”.

Q2 revenues rose 5.4% to PLN4.5 billion (€980m/£851m/$1bn), although that does represent a slowdown from Q1 when revenues rose almost 20%. Overall, it means the first half saw an increase of 11%.

The rise was helped by “effective use of the omnichannel potential in nearly 40 markets” and also the opening of 81 new stores in Poland and abroad that increased the group's retail space in the period May-July period by over 25%. The company said physical store sales rose by over 10%.

Online sales fell 12% compared to Q2 2025 as activity shifted back towards physical stores. But LPP said that they exceeded PLN1 billion, accounting for 26.1% of revenues from Poland and 23.6% of revenues overall. The company highlighted their importance for its growth internationally and also said the second half looks stronger based on Q2 e-sales improving compared to Q1.

And it added that “stable sales, combined with consistent cost discipline” meant net profit rose over 90%.

Sales outside of Poland continued to grow (by 7%) and represented 58% of turnover during the quarter.

As far as individual brands are concerned, the Mohito and Sinsay labels saw high-double-digit growth. Sinsay was boosted by the popularity of value-for-money products, and the development of the retail chain in smaller towns.

Mohito, which retails at a higher price range than Sinsay, saw a 13% increase and was boosted by online ales that account for over 30% of its revenues.

The retailer highlighted the “important step” it took post-period-end with its opening in London in August at Westfield Stratford City and a second store on London’s Oxford Street.

Currently, it's also preparing to open another location in London in the Brent Cross shopping centre.

LPP is also expanding fast in Italy. And in the months ahead, it plans to “strengthen its position abroad and increase the number of locations in individual markets, such as Finland, but also Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia”.
