The brand Karl Lagerfeld put a capital "K" on the the side of its sneakers. It’s not a choice that’s necessarily in bad taste for New Balance, considering that the American brand has placed a capital "N" on its sneakers since its founding. According to the American press, the footwear company filed suit on June 3 for copyright infringement.

In a statement, the brand said that "New Balance filed a lawsuit against Karl Lagerfeld to protect our intellectual property rights related to our iconic Lifestyle footwear designs."
Similar models cost 90 euros at New Balance as opposed to 290 for a pair of Karl Lagerfelds.
