In 2025, Brazilian footwear brand Havaianas sold 260 million pairs of shoes, 30 million more than in 2025, a record for the brand. Sales for Havaianas, owned by Brazilian footwear group Alpargatas, were worth BRL3.61 billion (€622 million) in 2025, equivalent to a 25.7% increase. Over the last two years, the Alpargatas group has invested BRL900 million (€157 million) to accelerate the growth of Havaianas, though the latter is not the only brand to which the group is strongly committed.
In December 2025, Alpargatas, which in 2025 recorded a revenue of BRL3.94 billion, up by 25.6% (91% of total revenue was generated by Havaianas), invested in Rothy's, a San Francisco-based brand that specialises in recycled shoes.
