Trouva, the platform to help consumers discover independent boutiques and brands, has launched a new “inspirational” way to shop online. The Re:store sister brand has introduced ‘Explore on Trouva’, which enables customers to shop directly from the first community-led shoppable video feed.

Featuring 600+ independent boutiques across the UK and Europe, Trouva said it connects content creators with independent retailers using short video formats “to inspire customers and uncover unique finds”.
The feature will “guide, inspire and assist customers through their shopping experience giving them access to expert tips, try-ons and styling sessions as they shop”.
The new platform is launching with two of its first resident content creators. Alana Laverty and Nada Bacchus have joined forces with Trouva to connect with retailers to showcase their unique products in their own homes.
The pair will add shoppable short video content to the platform throughout the festive period, visiting local boutiques and “shining a light on the unique and unrivalled power of independent curation”.
The company said customers can join Trouva as one of its creators as they expand their independent community. It’s looking for content creators “who can bring their personal style to 'Explore' through engaging and inspiring short video content and live shopping experiences. In return, they will get access to the very best independent boutiques and brands plus discounts and more”.
Trouva CEO Jon Reynolds said the launch is the the “first huge step in Re:store’s integration with Trouva and its passionate independent community”.
