Niche perfume label J.U.S, founded three years ago by the trio Brigitte Wormser, Jean-Baptiste Roux and Thierry de Baschmakoff, has just opened its first store in the heart of Seoul, Korea. A fitting choice in location since the brand has already set sights on the market in the past, having co-founded J.U.S Korea Inc. together with the Banetlee Group Inc.

"Korea is a promising market for J.U.S since youthful values are in line with the brand: uniqueness, transparency, eco-responsibility, in a perfume market that has been growing steadily for the past five years, and 30% in 2025 for the niche perfume market,” mentioned the brand, which expects a turnover of 3 million euros within three years.
This first store visually reflects the brand’s colorful image and highlights its environmentally responsible DNA: 100% Made in France production, refillable bottles, and transparency of its formulas.
The opening of the Korean store comes a year or so after the finalization of its first funding round. This €600,000 operation, overseen by Colibri Advisory, was carried out with two groups of business angels: WeLikeAngels and Arts et Métiers Business Angels, as well as with other international investors. Its aim was to accelerate J.U.S’s global expansion, particularly in Asia.

J.U.S, which stands for “jewel, unique, and sensory”, is present in ten countries and in 96 points-of-sale including Printemps Haussmann in France. The brand currently offers twelve different scents and has sold 20,000 units of its fragrances since its launch.
