How has Meander Apparel’s equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube performed in the first few hours since launching at noon on Tuesday (18 July)? A “remarkable show of support… having already achieved a staggering 91% of its £150,000 funding goal”, the sustainable outdoor clothing and lifestyle brand has announced.

And leading the “impressive momentum” has been Colin Temple, CEO of footwear retailer Schuh, and tech entrepreneur and Meander customer, Neil Norman.
It said the public crowdfunding campaign “marks a significant milestone” for the brand. With flagship stores in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, and Seven Dials, London, the funds raised will fuel the brand's plans for expanding its product range, investing in its team, and accelerating international growth, it said.
Co-founder Steve Henry added: “This milestone propels us towards our goal of expanding… across the UK and international markets. We're confident that this investment will help [us] reach our ambitious target of becoming a brand leader in the outdoor clothing market. We are creating a unique Scottish brand for our customers who need versatile and functional wardrobe for an outdoor lifestyle whilst maintaining our commitment to the environment.”
