Spanish fashion giant Mango is returning to Cork in southern Ireland after a 15-year absence with a new store located in the city’s main shopping area, St Patrick's Street. It takes its tally in the country to 17 stores.
Housed within Cork’s former Savoy cinema, it marks Mango’s first store in Ireland to feature the Mediterranean-inspired New Med concept.
It aims to “reflect the spirit and freshness of the brand”, expanding the concept which usually features in the retailer’s main flagship stores and which has been rolling out in neighbouring UK in recent years.
The 360 sq m store exclusively houses its Woman line. The New Med concept.
New technologies and services have been added to improve the customer shopping experience, such as a specific click & collect zone for the collection and return of orders; recycling boxes, where customers can deposit used clothing and footwear to give their garments a second life; and RFID technology for better stock control.
“Our arrival for the first time with our own company store in Cork will consolidate our brand and help us strengthen it internationally," said Daniel Lopez, Mango’s Franchise and Expansion Director.
Mango said it closed 2025 with a turnover of €2.69 billion, with 36% of its business originating from its online channel. It has a presence in over 115 markets.
