Pop-ups in the world’s top department stores are getting ever more elaborate and to underline that fact, Michael Kors has unveiled an immersive luxury installation in Galeries Lafayette on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.

Located in the atrium of the French capital’s destination department store, the experience is intended to “take shoppers to the skies with a jet set-inspired pop-up featuring product from the Fall 2025 season”.
The immersive experience “takes shoppers on a private jet journey, starting with a nighttime flight over New York City’s iconic skyscrapers”. This is brought to life through aerial videos in the entryway tunnel.
Once they enter the pop-up, visitors can see a deconstructed airplane display featuring brushed steel structures and cityscape-filled windows. It has “luxurious private jet seating”, with the company saying the space offers “the ultimate in luxe style”.
Of course, the product is what’s key here and the focus is on the brand’s new Michael Kors Empire Logo print, which is splashed across accessories, ready to wear and footwear. The overall offer also includes collections from the Michael line and from Michael Kors Mens.
To add to the experience, the pop-up will also be offering an exclusive competition and prizes including a chance to win a Paris-NYC round trip.
The display is open until 11 September.
