Maybelline has launched an official New York Fashion Week augmented reality beauty experience with YouCam that allows customers the chance to try on and purchase three key beauty looks direct from the runway.
Maybelline is the official cosmetics sponsor of New York Fashion Week. The Maybelline Fashion Week Series allows users the chance to experiment with the runway looks using YouCam's AR and AI beauty platform.
Users can instantly try on the three looks which are then paired with other Maybelline product. They can also shop the products from within the app.
The key runway beauty trends are an ultra glam look with berry lips and smoky shadow, a natural glow look with matte nude lip, and a street style look with a purple lip and flared lashes.
Laetitia Raoust, Maybelline New York Chief Digital Officer said, “This is a fun, new layer to the makeup experience for women who want to experiment more with their beauty looks.”
The Maybelline Fashion Week Series is exclusively available through the free YouCam app. It launches in the US on February 9 and is available for download in the App Store and through Google Play.
