Battersea Power Station’s transformation into a major standalone London retail attraction has been a major success but the venue isn’t resting on its laurels to keep visitor numbers rising for the historic location by the Thames.

The venue is staging two new public art installations by award-winning multimedia artist Charlotte Colbert. It’s part of the destination's spring/summer 2025 fashion and beauty campaign 'Radiant Reflections’, “promoting body positivity and encouraging visitors to celebrate their reflections, and London Craft Week”.
Until 1 June, two free-to-view surrealist artworks – Dreamland Sirens and Where Angels Live — take pride of place within the Grade II listed building's historic turbine halls, forming 'Chasing Rainbows', “inviting visitors into a world of imagination, hope and cultural healing”.
From 9-18 May, the installations will be accompanied by a Colbert-designed pop-up store in Turbine Hall A, as well as a free customisation station (9-11 and 17-18 May) with limited-edition patches for fashion and homeware purchases, “a unique way to inject personality into their seasonal shop”.
The Battersea attraction has reported a number of success stories since its transformation with its operator saying retailers there saw sales increasing 13.4% year on year in November/December trading period. Fashion sales rose 11.7%, jewellery and accessories jumped 13.3% and beauty lifted 11.2% on a like-for-like basis.
