With beauty one of the key categories for Christmas gifting (and self-gifting) the UK's two Westfield malls have a number of special experiences this month, including Boots and Clearpay teaming up to launch “the ultimate" festive experiential beauty pop-up at Westfield London from December 16-23.

Called Beauty Unwrapped, it has three zones including a concierge, a festive nail art station and a festive glam station. It’s all designed to look like a giant gift box and is located in the central Atrium.

Shoppers can scan a special QR at the pop-up that will give them £5 off at Boots Westfield on a £10 spend or more when paying with Clearpay.

Ahead of its launch, the activation was promoted across 93 high-impact digital screens at both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.

Grace Charge, Head of Brand Experience and Partnerships - Europe at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said that the mall is “incredibly busy” at this time of year and “it’s this kind of activation that really helps brands stand out and connect with both new and existing consumers”.

Boots isn’t the only retailer pulling out all the stops with Lush also launching the Lush Lounge, a new beauty and wellness activation for Christmas shoppers in Westfield London’s front atrium. That runs until December 20 and offers a concierge-style of service for ordering online, click & collect and sampling. As well as interacting with Lush’s most popular products and discovering the new Christmas range, “guests can expect surprises and delights with acts of kindness and care from Lush’s staff”.

Dior has also returned to both Westfield centres in the capital and is showcasing its luxury fragrances ahead of Christmas with stands at both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City until December 28.
