Spanish fashion group Inditex has made a double entry at Birmingham’s Bullring, not only marking Bershka and Pull&Bear’s introduction to the major mall but also their debut within the West Midlands region.

Bershka

Mall owner/operator Hammerson said the group’s latest commitment “demonstrates the appeal of Bullring and is reflective of [our] wider strategy to enliven its assets by introducing new brands, concepts and market firsts to excite and engage new audiences”.

Located on Bullring’s upper level, the stores’ combined area measures 36,453 sq ft, each with its own dedicated entrance. Bershka’s store will offer its three main lines, Bershka, BSK, and Man, while Pull&Bear will feature its collection of menswear and womenswear.

The two brands will join bigger sister brand Zara’s two Bullring stores, taking Inditex’s presence there to 76,000 sq ft.

Toby Tait, Director Asset Management at Hammerson, said: “Inditex more than doubling the size of its presence is a clear sign of their confidence in Bullring, amplified by the decision to place these two West Midlands debuts at the leading destination. Bershka and Pull&Bear will complement the extensive line-up of powerhouse names in fashion on the upper level, adding more choice for our visitors, and brands they cannot shop anywhere else in the region.”

The signing follows the news that luxury watch retailer TAG Heuer has opened a 1,400 sq ft boutique at Bullring, debuting its new design concept and marking the brand’s first standalone showroom in Birmingham.
