Perry Ellis International, Inc. (PEI), announced on Thursday an expanded strategic licensing partnership with ACI International, a manufacturer and marketer of footwear in the United States and Canada.
The agreement extends PEI's 16-year relationship with its current Perry Ellis footwear manufacturer, with a focus this time on the Men's and Boys' footwear collections under the Original Penguin brand.
In particular, PEI and ACI International plan to leverage classic Penguin designs, while infusing fresh concepts that capture an elevated yet enduring American essence. An addition to the collection will be the introduction of a performance tennis and pickleball line of footwear, catering to sports enthusiasts who want both style and functionality.
The new Original Penguin footwear collection will be available come Fall 2025 at major department stores, leading footwear chains, sporting goods outlets, and e-commerce platforms across the United States and Canada.
