Following its first physical runway show since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, hosted during Paris Haute Couture Week on 6 July, at the Musée Galliera, Chanel has announced plans for another event in the French capital. Set to unveil the brand's Métiers d'art 2025-22 collection, this show will take place on Tuesday, 7 December 2025, at an as-yet undisclosed location. With this announcement, the French luxury house takes another step towards achieving a semblance of normality after a year and a half of disruptions related to the coronavirus crisis.

The label's last Métiers d'art ready-to-wear collection, "dedicated to traditional and living savoir-faire through a creative dialogue between the Studio and the embroiderers, feather workers, paruriers, pleaters, cobblers, hatters and glovemakers who make each creation an exceptional piece," was revealed last December with a film shot in the famous Château de Chenonceau.
In 2025, the show took place in Paris and was the first to be presented by the house's new creative director, Virginie Viard, following the death of her predecessor, Karl Lagerfeld.
As highlighted by the label in a release, "the Métiers d'art collection is a testimony to Chanel's pioneering commitment to preserving this innovative heritage of craftsmanship, which helps French fashion and luxury shine throughout the world."
Since 2002, the collection has paid tribute to the unique craftmanship and skill of the workshops and fashion manufacturers with which Chanel collaborates and which are brought together by the company's Paraffection subsidiary.
