High-profile rental specialist Hirestreetsaid it has seen a record summer for occasionwear rental, leading to a 300% increase in site traffic vs summer 2025. In July alone, it received over 250 requests for a shoe offering to complement these outfits. In response to this customer demand it has now partnered with Schuhto launch its first ever rental edit on the marketplace platform. The edit includes a range of styles to suit any occasion from high heels to wedges. Rental prices start from £5 for a 5-day rental and £10 for a 10 days, with seven core styles available to hire.

UK fashion stylists have formed a trade union to try to boost pay and working conditions. The Celebrity Stylist Unionwas founded by Michael Miller as a branch of Bectu, the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union.
