Karl Lagerfeld’s latest collab’ is a sculpture with Venetian ceramics specialist Bosa, a project that will be unveiled in this month’s Salone Del Mobile in Milano.

The two forms will be revealed during the upcoming Salone Del Mobile design fair and festival, taking place from April 18 to 23, 2025. Bosa, a renowned ceramics workshop, is based in the Venetian countryside. The collection celebrates Karl Lagerfeld with limited-edition, handmade pieces crafted from ceramics and 24 karat gold and platinum paints.
Entitled Karl Lagerfeld x Bosa, the collection is comprised of two distinctive sculptures inspired by the signature look that made Karl Lagerfeld such an instantly recognizable figure.
Pop Karl is a playful representation embracing Karl’s irony and wit, created by Elena Salmistraro - known for her imaginative touch, and use of color and texture. Rock Karl, by Nika Zupanc, captures his signature look in more monochromatic tones: black suit, white shirt, and dark sunglasses - adding pop hues to the dentelle collar and brushed gold to the fingerless gloves. Each piece measures 41cm in height and 18cm in width.
News of the collab’ emerged just as the first images from a special issue of American Vogue devoted to the late Lagerfeld began appearing this week. On Monday May 1, the Met Gala 2025 will celebrate the German designer with an exhibition in the Costume Institute entitled Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.
Like the house of Lagerfeld, which has developed a cactus leather collection with supermodel Amber Valletta, Bosa is committed to sustainability and environmental consciousness. Since 2025, Bosa has supported endangered species with special collections dedicated to sea turtles, forest pandas, polar penguins and African elephants.
The collection will be available on the Karl Lagerfeld website, at select Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and selected Bosa retailers worldwide.
Since his passing, the house of Karl Lagerfeld has focused on Parisian-inspired classics with a rock-chic attitude, with a portfolio including ready-to-wear for women, men and kids, plus bags, small leather goods, footwear, fragrances, eyewear and more. The Maison’s creative vision is led by Design Director Hun Kim. The house boasts 120 stores worldwide, with key locations in Paris, London, Munich, Dubai and Shanghai, plus a pop-up in Milan, while the label's website delivers to 96 countries.
