The London Sneaker School (LSS), a new institution in sneaker design and education, is opening a concept pop-up store on the capital’s premium tailoring destination Savile Row.

Supported by creator community CANVVS, the three-month store at 20 Savile Row will open on 28 July and “marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its presence from its factory workshop in Hackney to the heart of bespoke fashion in London”.
The store is designed to provide sneaker and fashion enthusiasts “with a unique retail experience by bridging manufacturing, education and retail”.
It will include a bespoke sneaker service with classics being hand-made in premium leathers of the client’s choice. And LSS Core collection also features handmade classics that will be on display and available to order.
The body runs online and London shoemaking courses with educational products, including ‘Build Kits’ suitable for beginners looking to hand-make their own sneakers, as well as in-person workshops in the LSS factory in Hackney.
Clients will take part in a design consultation with the LSS team before their bespoke piece is hand-crafted in London by experienced cordwainers. Hand-painted elements will also be available on request at the store, using local artists who are part of the CANVVS creator community.
Jase Cooper, Founder and Creative Director of LSS, said: “This strategic location will allow us to combine our culture and community with Savile Row’s rich heritage and association with the finest craftsmanship in the fashion industry, in a true celebration of all aspects of culture that London has to offer.
“The store will build on our belief that when manufacturing is closer to the culture opportunities for new forms of expression are born for independent creators.”
