Fashion Week Los Angeles announced on Tuesday that Cynthia Rowley will present her collection on the runway at FWLA in Downtown Los Angeles.
The three-day fashion event is an invitation-only trade event for retailers and influencers that coincides with Los Angeles Fashion Market. FWLA found an official venue at Union Station Los Angeles last year in September just in time for the SS16 season.
Rowley, who is a New York Fashion Week mainstay, will show in Los Angeles for Fashion Week Los Angeles despite being based in New York City.
"Cynthia joins a growing list of forward thinking apparel brands that understand Los Angeles is home to the highest concentration of global fashion influencers and has quickly become the most cost-effective market to develop strategic relationships with influential retailers and bloggers." says FWLA Executive, Christina Iannuzzi.
Fashion Week Los Angeles will begin on March 13 with women’s swimwear and resort, women’s activewear, panel discussions and denim, and the event will close on March 15 with an evening discussion and men’s casual presentation. The date and time for the Cynthia Rowley presentation has not been confirmed as of yet, nor has any designer been confirmed.
