Benetton is targeting the UK with an online sales push and has partnered with tech and logistics solutions provider Refined Networks to help it.

As a result of this, its major United Colors of Benetton brand and smaller Sisley label have this week launched their SS24 collections online at John Lewis & Partners, using Refined Networks’ “turnkey solution of technology, logistics and market expertise”.

The company also works with European names Lindex, Soeur, Filippa K, Petit Bateau and DK Company in the UK, using its cross-border digital commerce platform to target sales growth through Britain and Ireland’s biggest online platforms and marketplaces.

It handles things like sales channel expansion, order management, stock allocation and fulfilment. 

Nicola Capone, International Business Development Manager at Benetton Group, said: “The UK is a reference market for our brands – we already have a number of stores in the country – and we are excited to be partnering with Refined Networks to expand our UK reach further.”

Benetton has been continuing its global recovery and last May it released its latest annual results. They showed the Italian apparel group achieving €1 billion in revenue, increasing its gross operating margin and reducing its losses. That came after it saw a major decline in revenue linked to the pandemic.
