As ‘Fashion Month' weaves its way through New York, London and Milan, one thing is becoming clear: colorful hair has never been more on trend.
It started in New York, where Marc Jacobs sent fans into a frenzy by debuting a series of spring-like, pastel hues on the catwalk, with models rocking hairdos that were dyed soft, peachy pink, hot neons and everything in between.
Over in London the trend took hold with a vigor: Vivienne Westwood's presentation featured scarlet red cropped hairstyles with matching dyed eyebrows, Nicholas Kirkwood's nodded to the concept by threading the models' tiny braids through with neon ties, and Matty Bovan opted for shocking pink beehives. Nicopanda went one step further with party-ready wigs in colorful tinsel -- an approach also adopted by Byblos in Milan, where multicolored tinsel bangs gave the beauty look a funky edge.
Colorful hair has been trending for some time now, both on and off the catwalk, so there is plenty of inspiration should you wish to test it out for the new season. Pink is definitely the hue of the moment, with rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj and actress Elle Fanning all stepping out rocking the trend recently.
