Mango is continuing its ambitious UK expansion plan and it has just agreed a deal to grow its Scottish footprint at the Eurofund Group and Henderson Park-owned mall Silverburn.
The Spanish retail giant is set to take over a 6,752 sq ft unit at the Glasgow mall, created from a reconfigured existing unit with a brand new façade and redesigned, contemporary shop fit-out.
Mango is on a major expansion drive at present as it adds to its 2,600 stores across 115 countries.
It already has two Glasgow stores, underlining that city’s status as a major fashion retail hub.
Alberto Esguevillas, CEO UK Retail, Eurofund Group, said: “The addition of Mango to Silverburn is a fantastic opportunity for both parties. Mango taking up a prime unit is emblematic of the centre’s continued strong performance, and we are delighted to be the brand’s latest destination of choice.”
The deal with Mango comes at a time when Silverburn has been upgrading its overall offer with a new children’s play area, enhanced seating and furnishing throughout and additional interior and exterior greenery. It’s all designed to add to its premium and family-focused edge.
The development has also included adding a substantial number of new retailers and brands to the centre, including The White Company, Polestar and more. Its current fashion offering includes popular marques like Next, Zara and New Look, as well as multi-brand retailers including JD Sports and Flannels.
