One of the festive traditions to have been introduced more recently is the Christmas pop-up and there have been a fair few of them this year as brands and retailers take advantage of the first ‘normal’ Christmas shopping season since December 2025.

Premium Italian outerwear brand Napapijri is the latest to join in with the label on Friday set to open a pop-up at one of London’s key Christmas retail destinations, the luxury department store Harrods in Knightsbridge.
The brand is taking over the men’s outdoor area at Harrods, showcasing its most recent and popular collections. That means items from the AW22 and Luisa Via Roma Capsule collections displayed in the area on the second floor of the giant store.
The pop-up will be open until 23 January and given that the brand has no other physical stores in the UK, it’s an important development.
Harrods has a number of key brand pop-ups running this season, the most heavily publicised being the Dior takeover. The French fashion brand has transformed the exterior of the store into a giant gingerbread house with a lighting display and 44 Dior-themed windows. It’s the biggest luxury brand takeover of the store ever.
