British billionaire Richard Branson is set to organize the UK's first all-female spaceflight with Virgin Galactic, The Daily Mail reports.
The 74-year-old billionaire has been approached by BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James to send British celebrities into space after Blue Origin successfully launched an all-female crew to the edge of space. The crew included singer Katy Perry, billionaire Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez, CBS co-host Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Boe, and civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen.
Greg James has suggested launching the UK’s This Morning presenter Alison Hammond, Loose Women contestant Denise Welch, TOWIE icon Gemma Collins, actress Natalie Cassidy, and Countdown star Carol Vorderman into space with Branson's company.
Richard went on Instagram and shared Greg's idea again, and said he was ready to create "Astronaut 00Hun."
