King Charles Meghan Markle has made a sweet gesture towards her father-in-law, King Charles.
According to a “very well-placed source,” “a box of As Ever sweets was delivered to Clarence House with a note,” UK royal correspondent Neil Schon told Fox News Digital. Clarence House is the London residence of King Charles. “The As Ever gift box contained… jams, honey, pancake mix and assorted treats,” Schon said.
“It was a gift idea from… the Duchess of Sussex.” Insider told Schon that Meghan said she holds the 76-year-old king in “so much respect.” Also, he noted that Meghan sent special boxes of her goods to friends to celebrate the launch of her brand.
On April 3, the day after the merchandise became available to the public, Markle posted photos on Instagram of friends who had received the commemorative boxes. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and Oscar winner Zoe Saldanha were among those who received the special delivery. Her merchandise sold out in less than an hour.
