The original show, which premiered its second-season finale today, has soared to new heights of popularity.
After initially receiving 14 Emmy nominations for its first season, fans had to wait three years for a second season, which reportedly cost $20 million per episode.
'Making Severance was one of the most creatively exciting experiences I've ever been a part of,' executive producer and director Ben Stiller said in a statement. 'Severance' is a sci-fi thriller that follows the team at Lumon Industries, led by Emmy Award-winning actor Adam Scott. The company has employees undergo a "split" procedure that surgically separates memories between work and personal life. However, the experiment is not as simple as it may seem.
