This Easter, Louis Vuitton is unveiling a decadent chocolate collection created in collaboration with renowned pastry chef Maxime Frédéric.
The Chocolate Egg Bag is an edible interpretation of the House’s iconic Egg Bag, originally designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Spring/Summer 2025 women’s collection, Hypebeast reports.
Frédéric brings the futuristic silhouette of the Egg Bag to life through the art of chocolate.
The sculptural shell is crafted from 70% dark chocolate, offering a deep, intense flavor profile, while the handles, strap, and zippers are recreated in 40% milk chocolate—faithfully mirroring the leather details of the bag.
The surface is embossed with the signature Louis Vuitton monogram. Inside is a 40% milk chocolate bar with a creamy gianduja nut core, giving the product an unexpected richness and a pleasant textural contrast.
The “bag” weighs about one kilogram and costs 225 euros—approximately $245.
The chocolate egg bag is available exclusively in select cities, including Paris, New York, Singapore, and Shanghai.
