MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon have expanded their collaboration into a full running wardrobe, surely the hippest meeting of directional fashion and active sports in some time.

The extended collab opens a new chapter in the successful MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon design partnership, which combines unconventional perspectives with progressive, technically advanced designs.
This Spring/Summer 25 collection features a functional, ultralight, no-gender capsule, launching in two successive drops on April 17 and May 8. Designed to combine Salomon's hi-tech constructive details and innovative materials with MM6's distinct aesthetic twists, it plays on the house's specific approach to colors, prints, and proportions.
A durable, mix-and-match, running-inspired wardrobe produced in deep black or jadeite and cut from thin windbreaker nylon, acetate running fabric, and lightweight seamless materials.
Standouts include the utilitarian MA-1 bomber jacket in an unusual translucent windproof ripstop material with reflective taped seams and the MM6 x Salomon logo stamped on the chest. Or a wide short playing on MM6's signature oversized proportions, upgraded in a light, stretchy ripstop fabric with laser-cut hems.
Logo tanks and T-shirts with long or short sleeves are paired with fitted running shorts in the line's Body Mapped Seamless hi-tech material. A breathable 3D bio-based polyamide, combining textural mesh with a jacquard weave, adds a futuristic spin to basic T-shirt shapes. Made with MM6 x Salomon logos emblazoned on the front or back and playful Xerox-style photographic prints of Salomon ACS Pro sneakers slung around the neck—or even a posh punk tag attached by tiny safety pins printed on the chest.
New to the collaboration, Salomon's road running shoe, the Spectur 2, offers distinctive mesh construction technology in strong, sleek monochrome black or an ethereal, luminous, and slightly translucent pale sage. XT-4 Mule sneakers are reworked in two new seasonal colorways: an intense cornflower blue with brown detailing and the signature mix of sun-bleached whites.

This MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collection will be rolled out in two phases, opening on April 17 with the ready-to-wear, the black Spectur 2 sneaker, and the XT Mule in Ultramarine. This will be followed on May 8 by a drop featuring the Spectur 2 in Sea Foam Green, the XT Mule in White/Beige Haze, and the XT-15 Backpack.
The capsule will also be available on both MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon's e-commerce sites, selected MM6 and Salomon stores, as well as in selected multi-brand stores. Prices range from €320 for the Spectur 2, to €590 for the bomber from MM6, to €290 for the wide short.

Launched in 1997, MM6 Maison Margiela is a key collection within the fashion house founded by Martin Margiela, which is today part of OTB, the Italian holding company of Renzo Rosso that also controls Diesel, Marni, Jil Sander, and Viktor&Rolf. This new collab's aesthetic offers a subtle nod to the Maison's archive while playing on the brand's conceptual DNA.
Salomon is the modern mountain sports lifestyle brand creating innovative, premium, and authentic footwear, apparel, and winter sports equipment in the French Alps. Founded in 1947 by François Salomon, Salomon is today owned by Amer Sports, a Finnish multinational sporting equipment company. Salomon will be a key sponsor in next year's Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina.
