Commercial property giant Grosvenor’s Liverpool One mall continues its impressive run of attracting new retailers. The latest addition is luxury footwear brand Kick Game, which has signed up for a 3,500 sq ft unit at the South John Street section of the venue.

Kick Game is set to open in July and it will mark the brand’s city debut, joining stores in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.
The new store helps to underline the appeal of certain key destinations post-pandemic with the most successful malls and shopping streets having an inbuilt advantage in attracting expansion-minded brands.
It’s something that's also being seen in London’s Bond and Regent Streets, which seem to be much better placed to attract new tenants compared to some other London locations.
As for Kick Game, the luxury retailer will offer exclusive sneaker and streetwear collections from brands such as Nike, adidas, Supreme and Off-White.
Alicia Thompson, CEO of Kick Game, said: “Liverpool is increasingly becoming an urban hub for streetwear fashion and hype sneakers, which made it a key location for us to extend the reach of our brand.
“We … look forward to opening our doors in a few months’ time, introducing our exclusive selection of luxury sneakers and streetwear to a new Liverpool audience.”
Alison Clegg, Managing Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor, added: “We are proud that renowned fashion labels such as Kick Game continue to choose Liverpool One as a key location within their expansion journeys. This signing… reiterates Liverpool One as a long-term destination for brands to put down roots. Both retailers contribute to the destination’s varied and vibrant offering, which we are constantly adapting to mirror the evolution of consumer demand.”
The latest signing by Grosvenor follows a busy beginning to 2025 for the city centre mall, with openings of Inditex fashion brand Bershka, Russell & Bromley, luxury jeweller David M Robinson, Irish athleisure brand Gym+Coffee, upsized units for Dr Martens and Castore, as well as the announcement from Gravity of plans for a new £10 million leisure experience at the former Debenhams.
