Womenswear brand Sosandar announced on Thursday it has been admitted to trading on AIM just 12 months after its launch.

The company founded by former Look magazine editor Ali Hall and ex publishing director Julie Lavington was acquired by Orogen plc earlier this month for £6.3 million by way of a reverse takeover.
It said the £5.3m it raised through a placing of new ordinary shares will be used to finance the development and growth of the brand.
Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, the business has quickly established itself as a one-stop online destination for women who are looking affordable fashion-forward clothing with a premium, trend-led aesthetic. All products sold on its site
have been created by its own in-house design team.
Ali Hall, who co-founded the brand with Julie Lavington and serves as co-CEO, commented: "Sosandar has truly resonated with a new generation of fashion conscious women looking for chic, trend led, quality but affordable clothes. The Sosandar team are very excited by the opportunities ahead to bring the Sosandar brand to women, both in the UK and internationally."
"Today's announcement coupled with this significant investment heralds a very exciting time for the brand. Sosandar PLC intends to expand its market share in the already large and successful, yet still growing online fashion market. Investment will be used to further extend the product range and develop brand awareness amongst potential customers in both the UK and overseas,” added Julie Lavington.
Sosandar has been featured in several fashion magazines, newspaper and TV, and has an extensive celebrity following. It said it has seen “consistent growth in sales”, driven by a combination of its quality product and magazine-style content.
