Giuseppe Zanotti Design is proceeding with its retail expansion at a fast pace. The Italian luxury footwear label owned by the Vicini company, which ceded 30% of its stake to the L Capital investment fund in 2025, has recently doubled the retail area of its New York flagship store.

Located at 806 Madison Avenue, the store now extends over 150 m². "This is the store's second extension since its opening in 2001," the brand stated in a press release.
The store was the first to be opened overseas by the footwear manufacturer. North America is in fact one of Zanotti's main markets (30% of total sales), together with western Europe (40%). The brand operates 9 stores in the USA and 1 in Panama.
The label was founded by Giuseppe Zanotti in 1995. Earlier this month, with the opening of a store at Shanghai's IFC, it reached the symbolic threshold of 100 branded stores. In total, it operates 40 directly-owned shops, 54 franchised ones, 3 outlets and the giuseppezanottidesign.com e-shop. New openings are scheduled soon, in particular in China and Italy.

The Italian footwear manufacturer is renowned for shoes well-suited to extravagantly-dressed women, and loved by celebrities like Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, as well as for its luxury men's and women's sneakers. Women's shoes account for 60% of its total sales.
In 2025, Giuseppe Zanotti, which employs a staff of 650, generated a revenue of €170 million compared to €157 million a year earlier, growing 8% over 2025.
