Tokyo’s Rakuten Fashion Week started on August 28 and will end on September 2. The inaugural event of the Spring/Summer 2025 show season is a mix of runway shows, online presentations and art installations.
Several shows are scheduled in Halls A and B of the Shibuya Hikarie complex in Tokyo, featuring labels like Kanako Sakai, Tweo, Queen&Jack, Bench, Seivson and Cinoh. Other labels, among them Rokubuen, Dressedundressed, Mintdesigns and Maison Alternative, are instead staging online presentations.
Fashion labels from the Philippines will star in a dedicated runway show, PH Mode X TYO by Manila Fashion Festival. The winners of the Tokyo Fashion Awards 2025 will be announced in a ceremony scheduled on Saturday September 2.
Tokyo’s Rakuten Fashion Week will be followed closely by the Seoul Fashion Week. The latter is scheduled from September 5 to 9, and will partly overlap with New York Fashion Week, which will be held from September 8 to 13.
September 13 will also mark the start of Madrid Fashion Week, which will continue until September 17. London Fashion Week will instead run from September 15 to 19, and will be followed by the two most anticipated events, Milan Fashion Week on September 19-25, and Paris Fashion Week from September 25 to October 3.
