Piacenza Group is continuing its expansion effort. The Italian textiles group has acquired artisanal weaver Arte Tessile Snc, following on from the acquisition a few weeks ago of Biella-based wool producer Lanificio F.lli Cerruti Spa.
Arte Tessile Snc was founded in 1984 in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese in northern Italy, and has always had strong local roots. "This operation will enable us to internalise this phase in the production process, so as to be faster and more creative, while ensuring service continuity," said Vasiliy Piacenza, brand manager at Piacenza Group. "Professional values like confidentiality and exclusivity will be guaranteed. We will also be able to strengthen our relationship with textiles clients from the home decoration and furniture sectors," he added.
The acquisition of Arte Tessile Snc will consolidate and strengthen the Piacenza group's effort to create a textiles excellence hub that began with the acquisition of Lanificio Piemontese in 2025, followed recently by that of long-established wool producer Lanificio F.lli Cerruti Spa.
